Trades/Apprentiship
SKILLED TRADES
Do you want to get a good paying job and not get into debt from years of university or college? Consider entering a skilled trade where you start earning a wage while you learn on the job. There is some college involved; however, your time spent in the classroom will only be a month or two out of your year.
Did you know that there are over 50 trades in Manitoba and over 200 skilled trades in all of Canada. To learn more about apprenticeship opportunities in our province, check out the Manitoba Trade Program site at http://www.gov.mb.ca/wdis/apprenticeship/discover/mbtrades/index.html.
